Headwaters Youth

Our Purpose

Headwaters Youth Ministry seeks to prepare teens to be disciples of Jesus Christ who go out into the world and make more disciples of Jesus Christ.

What We Do

What we do within youth ministry is focused on the objectives of being Christ centered, Gospel saturated and discipleship focused.

Christ Centered: At the core of everything we do is Christ. We seek to glorify Him and make Him known through our teaching, discipling, events, mission trips, retreats, and our involvement with the greater Fort Wayne community. (Colossians 1:15-20)

Gospel Saturated: The timeless truth of the Good News drives what we do. We will seek to make the Gospel known, as well as show how the Gospel is to be lived out. (Romans 1:16; Philippians 1:27; Colossians 1:21-23)

Discipleship Focused: Headwaters Youth seeks to build intentional relationships in order that we might point others to Christ, display how the Gospel impacts our lives, and to equip our students to make more disciples. (Matthew 28:18-20; Jude 20-21; 1 Peter 4:10; Ephesians 4:13-15)

When and Where

Headwaters Youth meets in two different locations on Sunday mornings. Our teens gather at 9am for Sunday school at Wallen Rd. The Middle School (6-8) meets in room C- 12, and the High School meets in the church basement. At Wells St, the youth meet at one location following the church service in Building 2.

On Wednesdays we gather at 6:30pm at Wallen Rd. The High School meets in the church basement, and the Middle School meets in the large room at the very west end of the church building.
