Help with Egg Hunt

Headwaters Kids is starting to prepare for our 2nd annual community outreach Egg Hunt, and we need your help to make it a success & reach our neighbors!

WHO: This event will be geared for children 0-10 and their families.  
WHEN: April 8th, 10am-Noon

 

WHAT WE'RE PLANNING:

AGE APPROPRIATE:
 We will have 3 separate areas set up for different age groups to hunt 20,000 candy-filled eggs!

Age 0-3 10:00 am
 Age 4-6 10:30 am
 Age 7-10 11:00 am

RAFFLE PRIZES:There will be raffle prizes, including 2 bicycles, and 2 baskets of goodies for a boy and girl in each age group.

GOSPEL MESSAGE: Each child will take home a gospel message and an invite to church for their family.

FAMILY FUN:  Spring photo-op, bubbles, balloon artists, and music                                                                                  

VOLUNTEER BEFORE EVENT DAY:

BEFORE EVENT DAY, WE'LL NEED: 

  • 20 volunteers/families to stuff eggs with candy and bring them back filled before the event. Pick up for eggs is the week of March 19th.
  • Donations needed, registry is linked HERE. 
  • If you want to forego the registry and just donate candy, please make sure it can fit into plastic eggs and drop it off at the Welcome Center or Kids Check In.

Items needed:

CANDY & PRIZES: We created a Walmart Event Registry to make it easy to shop for candy and raffle prizes.

You may have items shipped directly to Church. Or you may ship to your home and drop them off at the Welcome Center or Church Office M-F 9-4.

VOLUNTEER ON EVENT DAY:

ON EVENT DAY WE'LL NEED: 
All hands on deck to welcome families, direct foot traffic, hand out bags, candy, & coupons, and collect eggs after the hunt.
